Welcome to Ringette BC’s newest Staff Team Member!
Ringette BC would like to introduce our newest team member, Rick Benson, who joined Ringette BC at the beginning of April in the role of Sports Operations Manager. Rick’s position with Ringette BC is a temporary position covering duties of staff who will be taking a leave of absences in the coming months.
Recently retired from Softball BC after 24 years, the past 9 years as Executive Director, Rick has joined BC Ringette to act in the position of the Sports Operations Manager. Rick is no stranger to ringette as his daughter played with Surrey White Rock as a child. Rick is looking forward to bringing his experience with Softball and the sport sector to Ringette BC. A long time lower mainland resident, Rick lives with his wife, Mary Ann, in Langley. In addition to his passion for amateur sport, Rick’s hobbies include a money pit, also fondly known as a 1977 MGB.
Rick’s hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 to 4:30 PM.
