The Canadian Ringette Championships (CRC) are held annually for all U16 and U19 teams at the AA level. The competition includes one provincial team from each of the eight provinces and then additional wildcard berths are awarded based on commitment to attends.

The Championship is a week long and is typically held in early April. The event includes the National Ringette League Championship and is the pinnacle competition for athletes, coaches, and officials.

2025 CANADIAN RINGETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships took place in Ottawa, ON from March 30th – April 5th, 2025.

Our U16 Team BC put in a solid effort, finishing 13th in their division. U19 Team BC also fought hard, securing 12th place, and our BC Thunder showed their determination achieving a 12th place finish in the NRL.

Huge congrats as well to the following BC athletes:

  • Fionna Penner took home 1st place in the U16AA hardest shot category of the skills competition.
  • Gemma Cerantola finished top 5 in the U16AA fastest skater category of the skills competition.
  • Emma Kinar finished top 5 in the U16AA goalie skills and agility category of the skills competition.
  • Mikayla Williams finished top 5 in the U19AA accuracy shooting category of the skills competition.
  • Grace Philips finished top 5 in the U19AA individual agility category of the skills competition
  • Sarah MacDonald was selected for the NRL First Team All-Stars & named the Top Goalkeeper!

2024 CANADIAN RINGETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2024 Canadian Ringette Championships took place in Dieppe, NB from April 7-13, 2024.

Our U16 and U19 teams both played some awesome games and finished in 10th place in their respective divisions. The BC Thunder finished 5th in the NRL.

  • Lauren Tang who was named to the U19 Second Team All-Stars
