Call For Zone Representatives

Ringette BC is currently seeking Zone Coordinators for the 2024 BC Winter Games in the following Zones:
  • Zone 2 Thompson-Okanagan:
  • Zone 3 Fraser Valley:
  • Zone 4 Fraser River:
  • Zone 5 Vancouver Coastal:
  • Zone 6/7
    • Vancouver Island:
    • Northwest:
  • Zone 8 Cariboo-North East:

Zone Representatives support with the following tasks:

  • Complete registration for all athletes and coaches attending the Games
  • Schedule & Organize Tryouts
  • Schedule & Lead Coach Interviews
  • Collection of registration fees for BCWG
  • Coordinate team schedule & events
  • Support with team planning in the lead up to the BC winter Games

Zone Representatives for BCWG will be confirmed by September 15, 2023.

Coach Eligibility

Head Coach Applications will be open August 18th – September 12th, 2023.

All applicants must:

    • be registered for ringette as a coach by October 1, 2023 for the 2023-2024  season
    • be in good standing with Ringette BC and their Home Association
    • have achieved the required certification to coach at the BC Winter Games and have maintained professional development credits with the Coaching Association of Canada
    • additional eligibility criteria may be added closer to the event date

Coaches will be required to submit the following:

  1. 2024 BC Winter Games Coach Application Package
  2. Ringette BC Coaches Code of Conduct
  3. Ringette BC Volunteer Screening Form
  4. Sample Practice Plan (U14 or higher)
