On behalf of the Ringette BC Board of Directors, I am pleased and excited to announce the following staff appointment:
REBECCA TAMIL SELVEN – DIRECTOR of SPORT
It is with great pleasure I announce Rebecca Tamil Selven has been promoted to the position of Director of Sport, effective July 17, 2023.
This new position within Ringette BC will lead development, oversight and evaluation of players, coaches and officials. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Sport will be responsible for all technical programs for the organization.
Rebecca Tamil Selven has been with Ringette BC as a staff member for nearly five years, and is a lifelong ringette player, coach, and fan. Rebecca, along with her husband, Harri and their two children are all fully engaged in their community’s ringette activities. Previously, Rebecca worked with the City of Surrey in the Parks and Recreation Department. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Physical Education and Health degrees from UBC along with Competition Development Coach and Coach Developer certification through NCCP.
