The Surrey White Rock Ringette Association is hosting a free event on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Surrey Sports and Leisure Complex for children aged 4+ to try out the game of ringette.
Participants can try out the game, play games, and try drills suitable for all skill levels. Beginner skaters are welcome and free skate and helmet rentals are available for participants (limited number available).
Pre-registration is required
Equipment:
We provide ICE skate and helmet rentals free of charge. We have a limited number of protective equipment, if you have your own protective equipment (neck guard, elbow pads, knee pads, gloves) please bring.
Ice Sport – Please dress warmly:
- warm jacket / top
- long pants
- warm gloves
Registration in advance is required.
Parents / Guardians are required to remain in the facility.
Please only register if you are able to make the commitment to attend. We love being able to host this session for free and would love to have as many skaters that capacity will allow on the ice.

- Regular Season is September to Early March – Registration is Open now
- Spring Ringette is April to June
- Skills or Scrimmages depending on age group
