U14 Train To Excel Program

Ringette BC is proud to announce the return of the U14 Train to Excel Program.

The U14 Train to Excel Program has been designed to provide U14 aged athletes with access to online and in person content that will support their development as ringette athletes. To be eligible to participate athletes must be registered for the 2022/2023 ringette season. Once registered in the Train to Excel Program, athletes will receive access to workshops, activities to test their new knowledge, and other resources to introduce them to training at home. By taking part in this program, athletes will improve their ringette knowledge and abilities, learn about ringette strategy and tactics, and develop general knowledge important to all athletes.

The program will run from November to March, and include online sessions, individual activities and regional in person sessions. Athletes will also receive a sample fitness program in March to support their off season training. Those athletes moving into U16 in the 2023-2024 season (born in 2009) can also use the fitness program in preparation for the Excellence Ringette Program Assessments in May.

As athletes complete the workshops, activities and home-based activities, they will fill in spaces on a RING-O card to win prizes and Ringette BC Swag!

Prizes include

  • Toques
  • Drawstring bags
  • Warm-up balls
  • Notebooks
